Leep Utilities announce new EHV connections team

February 29th, known as Leap Day, occurs once every four years. Leap Day is added to the calendar in Leap Years to keep the calendar synchronized with the Earth's revolutions around the sun.

Given our name we’ll be celebrating this year as a #LeepYear and today as #LeepDay.

We are proud to announce that today, 29th February, we have launched our exciting new sales team, Leep EHV connections.

The newly formed team will specialise in working with large end users such as Data Centres, Batteries, 132kv & Grid connections.

Over the last year we have worked alongside Data Centres to support their various needs gaining a good understanding of the customers challenges in sourcing power.

The knowledgeable Leep team will be able to provide expert guidance and assistance throughout the process.

As well as EHV connections, we also offer water, wastewater, electric and heat solutions.

Matt Ling, Business Development Director, says ‘We are very excited to launch this new sales team, who will specialise in working with large end users such as Data Centres, Batteries, 132kv & Grid connections.

Demands on the UKs power infrastructure is increasing, and we are seeing more and more high-end users in this space. Data Centres are the backbone to our digital lives, supporting everything from our photos on the cloud to patient data in hospitals.

Their 24/7 operations and large cooling systems require vast amounts of power, and the recent boom in AI and cryptocurrency is helping drive the industry’s electricity consumption to unseen levels.

We have a very experienced team, and we have now gained a good understanding of the customers challenges in sourcing power. This team will be able to provide expert guidance and assistance throughout the process. We now have a good track record of working with these blue-chip customers and we will make the Leep to be market leaders in this sector.’

Every month during 2024 we’ll celebrate #LeepYear by asking people who are part of the Leep family to tell us how they’d spend a free extra day.
